Here’s a trivia question: where’s Seiko from? For all of you who answered Japan, here’s a virtual pat on the back. What you may not realise, however, is that the company has been in existence for the better part of a century, with a proud heritage stemming from 1881. Yes, it all began when Kintaro Hattori opened a watch shop in Ginza area of Tokyo. Later in 1892, Hattori started producing clocks under the name Seikosha, which translates roughly to "House of Exquisite Workmanship".

It shouldn’t surprise anyone then, that Seiko has developed a reputation for world-class watch movements and timepieces, considering the dedication towards their craft and discernment. Truthfully, it’s what any respectable gentleman would expect, which brings us to making our case for these 3 Seiko timepieces that have caught our fancy.
